So many things.

Hey,  it's been a while since I posted but a lot has happened since November 2010. We updated the studio a bit and hooked Joe's room up for everyone's comfort.  Joe has been doing some really solid work and we have a blast whenever he is here, which unfortunately is not enough (he's only in on Saturdays).  Also, Joe or "Pepper" as we like to call him, became a father.  His wife, Amy, gave birth to a beautiful girl named Presley Marie.  How fitting, she is now a part of the Graceland Tattoo family.

Allison's been working a lot, expanding our jewelry selection and piercing nearly 6 days a week. Her band PLATFORM ONE has been pretty busy and she is writing yet another screenplay.  It's been great to have her on full time.  Diego has been doing some killer tattoos and started working on a sleeve of his own. He is about to finish the entire 6 series of LOST in just about 2 months time.  Shane our "LOST Guru" is living La Vida Loco.  He finished his Masters Degree, been getting tattooed and writing a lot.  I expect he will churn out a cool project or two in 2011.

Several months ago I started watching LOST, but being a new father hasn't allowed Keely and I to finish it.  More importantly, I went back to using electric coil machines and I really like the change. I feel myself reconnecting with the roots of my tattoo career.  I have been getting tattooed quite a bit again.  It's been really invigorating and as many of you know, sometimes it fucking kills.  I'm going to Philly tomorrow with Pepper and Allison to check out the convention that they have every year.  I hope to comeback with some art for the wall and a new tattoo.  Keely and I really love being parents, our little girl is so cool.  She has changed my life in ways I never knew possible.

Tim Mueller will be visiting from LA - which is always a great time. We just booked his next trip for March 26-April 1st 2011.  We have a handful of world class artists set to come through in 2011, and once the dates are finalized you'll be the first to know.  The studio has been business as usual and busy as hell.  We are just about a week away from our 8 year anniversary, which is a proud moment for me. A lot has happened in those eight years and as I reflect...I've have never been in a better place as I am today.  Some people have come and gone and it's always been for the best. We have so many new clients and continue to build relationships with so many people from years gone by.  Here's to another great year.

Another Great Testimonial!

Hi Allison,

I was just there Tuesday night...probably your 2nd to last, if not last appointment? Had my belly pierced...anyway, I am just still totally amazed at how great you are with those hands! I mean, the last time you did my nose, and then my Tragus...I was surprised because I expected it to be much worse than it actually was. Of course there was some more nervousness coming in to do my naval (I get nervous with just about anything though)...but again, what a pleasant experience. I just can't imagine that any other piercing done by you would hurt or be horrible. I also must comment on how there's no irritation, redness, or swelling or hardly any bleeding! I keep forgetting that it's actually there to be honest...shouldn't I be feeling at least a slight tenderness? Is the lack of this because I had it done 2 times prior (somewhere else and years ago...)?? Does the scar tissue present itself as being less sensitive after all this time?

Anyway....just wanted to throw you an email of appreciation :)
